Our company is currently providing an immediate response that allows for reduced down time for the facilities we serve. Utilizing provided resources, our technicians are able to identify issues that are causing the location to become inoperable and, if the problem is internal, allowing us the ability to correct the issue through communications to a staff member on site. A principal objective of our offering is to help facilities staff get the most out of installed building automation systems by providing ongoing application review and optimization services, and by working to develop effective methods for extracting actionable information from installed systems. We bring a strong working knowledge of relational database and business intelligence technologies to our work with building automation systems, and have experience with data dashboard and report design.
Energy Engineering
We have a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) on our technical staff with extensive experience in building energy analysis. We can provide facility energy auditing services, work to locate and secure utility incentive funding for energy projects, and provide project M & V services.
DP Technologies is currently managing a 250 building demand response program for a national retail store chain; our staff assisted with initial load reduction calculations, developed and implemented all required BMS programming modifications including enterprise level demand response event trigger routines, and is managing event triggering based on utility notification.
Remote Equipment Monitoring
DP Technologies can provide a complete remote equipment monitoring system that can be used to produce email or SMS text notification when critical remote equipment failures occur; we provide and install all system hardware and take care of all setup and commissioning required to deliver a completely operable monitoring system. Remote failure notifications can be routed to our technical staff and we can initiate appropriate response steps as required, or we can set the remote monitoring system up to notify in-house facilities staff or equipment service contractors directly.
Building Automation
These days, with the high cost of energy, labor, and contract services, it is even more important to put an emphasis on implementing a system that not only automates building equipment and functions, but also improves on the efficiency and effectiveness of an energy management system.
It is therefore critical that when implementing a building automation solution it is not done in a commodity fashion. A comprehensive design is required to maximize the benefits of a building automation system.
